The actress has been a muse for dreamy fashion brands like Rodarte, Miu Miu, and Gucci.

Elle Fanning Marie Claire Magazine Cover 2020

I’m a total sucker for an Elle Fanning red carpet look. In fact, I’m guessing that many fashionistas feel the same way. From the dazzling Gucci gown at the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil film premiere, to the stunning array of couture looks worn at the prestigious 2019 Cannes Film Festival - she has got to be one of the best dressed stars in Hollywood.

Is this article just an opportunity to gush over her most beautiful outfits?

You are correct.

Here are a few of her most beautiful looks from the past few years. The ones that showcase the very best of her fresh, fun, and feminine sense of style.

2017 Gucci Cruise Collection.

Elle Fanning looked stylish on the front row at the Westminster Abbey Show.

I am crazy about the cute lace details on the sheer organza blouse. Those powdery pops of pink are also to die for.

If you're going to be sitting amongst the architectural majesty of the Westminster Abbey cloisters, you just have to wear something fabulous. Elle arrived at the 2017 event in the most adorable Gucci ensemble.

Embracing creative director Alessandro Michele's love for a pussy bow blouse, she opted for a powder pink bow against sheer white fabric. I just love it paired with the black velveteen mini dress. I'll call this look a modern day take on a 1960s mod girl. Her subtle beehive and pink lip complements the retro playfulness of the outfit. Just love it!

2018 Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event.

Looking gorgeous in a gown from the 2018 Giambattista Valli spring collection.

A dress for a draped goddess. I hope I get to wear something that breathtaking someday...

Oh my Goddess! In 2018, artistic director Reed Krakoff released his first ever jewellery collection for Tiffany & Co. For the launch party their beloved NYC store was transformed into a glamorous venue.

Who better to be the spokesmodel of the brand than Elle Fanning herself? She looked angelic in an ever-so-dreamy Giambattista Valli floor length gown. It's impossible not to adore the regal empire waist line, the floaty white fabric, or the ruffle detail around the strapless shoulder. A garment straight out of the gates of heaven.

2019 Met Gala.

Elle Fanning kept to the theme in a bright 70s Barbie doll look.

Such a gorgeous girl in custom Miu Miu! She really had fun with this kitschy-cute look.

This years Met Gala theme was Camp: Notes on Fashion. Based off Susan Sontag's 1967 essay on humour and theatricality in fashion, the event's dress code demanded stars to arrive in outfits that were tacky, artificial, or exaggerated. Some famous faces disappointed by arriving in outfits far from the brief. Others delighted us with bold and beautiful looks.

I loved Elle Fanning's exciting Miu Miu two piece. The sleeves were flared, the trousers were flared, and the jewellery looked like the best of a children's toy box thrown together into a statement accessory. A look that captured the nostalgic artifice of a Barbie doll. Quintessentially kitsch!

2019 Cannes Film Festival.

The star graced us with a glam throwback to the late 1940s.

Elle Fanning was a vision of old school elegance in this outfit. A look that nearly broke the internet.

All eyes were on Elle at this years Cannes Film Festival. For the premiere of Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, she wore Christian Dior in a homage to the 'new look' of 1940s France - one of the most important fashion designs of the 20th century. The look emerged after World War Two. Since clothing materials were under strict rationing during wartime, Dior's designs were scandalous because of their high fabric content. Wide brimmed jackets, cinched in waistlines, and large a-line skirts encapsulated the new look.

Elle Fanning stepped out onto the red carpet in a breathtaking interpretation. Her black macrame hat, structured organza blouse, and tulle skirt was spectacular. She pulled the ensemble off with a confident poise for the cameras. An actress with a taste beyond her 21 years on earth.

2019 Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Film Premiere.

She really was an IRL princess in this custom Gucci gown!

With her angelic looks and ingenue star quality, it's as if Elle Fanning was born to play a princess.

This look is the definition of ethereal. Elle reprised her role as Princess Aurora in the live action Disney Maleficent series and wore the perfect dress to celebrate her return. The flowing green gown was custom Gucci. An otherworldly design that looks like a cross between a Midsummer's night nymph, and the enchanting images of a leather-bound picture book.

Details are everything in this ensemble. On her elegant gloves and the side of her dress were beaded red blood drops. A wonderful link to the classic sleeping beauty tale when the princess pricks her finger on a spinning wheel. Purple ribbon was draped off of the sleeves like a velveteen waterfall, and the silken flowers sewn around the bodice are just wonderful! Who wouldn't want to look like a walking watercolour painting? <3

I cannot wait for more looks from the stylish star...
